Research & Editorial Analyst

Talent Tweak (A Virtual Research Academy) is a global life science platform supporting students, researchers, and professionals through research training, mentorship, professional development, and scientific publishing.

We are seeking a Research & Editorial Analyst to join our growing Research & Editorial Team. The role will focus on reviewing scientific literature and published data, analyzing trends, and translating evidence into engaging articles, reports, and digital publications for the life science community.

Job Responsibilitis

  • Research and identify timely topics and emerging trends across life sciences, scientific careers, academia, biotech, and pharma.
  • Review and analyze peer-reviewed literature, published reports, surveys, and publicly available data.
  • Develop evidence-based articles, report analyses, career insights, and editorial content.
  • Contribute to Talent Tweak’s monthly life science digital magazine/newsletter.
  • Track developments in AI, emerging technologies, workforce trends, skills, hiring, funding, and scientific careers.
  • Create or support data summaries, figures, tables, and visualizations when appropriate.
  • Ensure scientific accuracy through fact-checking, referencing, and source documentation.
  • Collaborate with scientists and contributors to brainstorm and develop new research and editorial topics.

Ideal Candidate

  • Graduate-level training in life sciences, biomedical sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceutical sciences, public health, or a related field.
  • PhD candidates, recent PhD graduates, postdoctoral researchers, and experienced MSc/MPhil researchers are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong experience in scientific literature review, research analysis, and scientific writing.
  • Ability to interpret published data and communicate complex information clearly.
  • Strong interest in science communication, biotech/pharma trends, and scientific career development.
  • Experience with Microsoft platforms and productivity tools is a plus.
  • Experience with Excel, R, Python, SPSS, GraphPad Prism, data visualization, or similar analytical tools is an advantage.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, curious, and able to work independently in a virtual environment.
